Mary Elizabeth Hobgood is associate professor of religious studies at the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Massachusetts. She earned her M.A.R. from Yale Divinity School and her Ph.D. from Temple University. She is a contributor to Redefining Sexual Ethics, and a coeditor of Welfare Policy: Feminist Critiques.
