What information we collect and how we use it
In order to join a mailing list, sign up for a newsletter, or receive church school curriculum online, you are required to create an account or fill out a registration form.
This form will ask for your name; address (necessary to calculate shipping and applicable taxes); phone number; email address (for purchases of digital downloadable products); and credit card number, security code, and expiration date (when making a purchase). We require this information so that we can process orders, or contact you if there is a problem with your order. We may also ask for your church name and size of congregation, where applicable.
If you choose to create an account when making a purchase, you will be asked to provide a password. Only the contact information you provide when you create an account is saved, to speed the check-out process during subsequent visits. We do not copy, save, or otherwise store your credit card information, under any circumstances.
A password is also required to access materials provided online on a subscription basis, including Seasons of the Spirit, and The Best of Whole People of God Online. The purpose of the password is to validate to the security features of the website that you do, in fact, have access to a resource.
Your privacy is important to you. It’s important to us, too.
We will not share your telephone number, email, or postal address with anyone else. If you sign up for an email newsletter or discussion list, you will receive only the newsletter or discussion list you request. Any contact information you give us is kept confidential. Your order information is available only to our customer service, order processing, and website staff and administrators.
Changing or deleting your information
If you’ve given us personal information in the past – i.e., if you’ve registered on woodlakebooks.com, seasonsonline.ca, or wholepeopleofgod.com – and you want or need to update or change this information (including your password), click on the “Edit My Registration” link on the splash page. By entering your email address and (current) password, you will be able to modify your registration/account information, including your mailing address, your email* address, your password, and other information. You may also delete your information, if you wish.
* Please note: If you have subscribed to one of our email newsletters or discussion groups, updating your email address on this registration page will not automatically change the address that newsletters or postings to a discussion group are sent to. These listserves are maintained separately from the Wood Lake Publishing website. If your email address changes, you will need to unsubscribe with the old address and re-subscribe with the new address. You may do this by sending an email to the List Administrator.
Your order information is secure at Wood Lake Publishing. When you go to the checkout page, your browser is connected to our secure web server using a communication protocol called SSL. Once that secure connection is established, the communication between your web browser and our server is encrypted so that your personal information, including your credit card number, cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.
How we make shopping safe

If you still prefer not to give your credit card number over the Internet, we gladly accept phone orders.* Call 1-800-663-2775. (*Please note: Website discount prices are valid only for those who pay with credit card via the website.)
We hope the information we have provided will make you feel at ease about purchasing online with Wood Lake Publishing. If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
